External aftermarket parts such as slides, magazine releases, takedown levers, and slide release controls generally do not adhere to OEM specification and have a high likelihood of negatively impacting holster fitment. We cannot know how every single aftermarket part affects fitment – you should assume it will not fit unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product description. We are not responsible for ill fitment caused by aftermarket parts.

The screws on the perimeter of your holster with rubber bushings behind them are retention adjustment screws. Turn them a half turn at a time until the desired retention is achieved. Don’t forget to apply a small amount of the included threadlocker when you’re done.

Discreet Carry Concepts (DCC) Mod4 clips for 1.5″ belts are state of the art and the unequivocal gold standard. These clips have more clamping force on the belt than any other clip on the market. They are extremely thin and low profile, adjustable for ride height, and shirts can be tucked in behind them. We recommend Mod4 clips for anyone who demands the highest performance from their holster, and especially users carrying in a professional capacity.

Discreet Carry Concepts (DCC) 1 Series clips share the same profile and clamping force as Mod4, but without the underhook on the inside of the clip. This makes them easier to slide on and off, reduces wear and tear on your belt and pants, and comes with a significantly more attractive price point. They are still more secure than most belt clips on the market, but somewhat less so than the Mod4 clips.

Stiff Clips are injection molded polymer clips that universally fit belts up to 1.75″. These outperform all the other polymer clips on the market and will satisfy the needs of most customers.

The vast majority of our customers carry appendix and prefer holsters with this option. If you’re not carrying in the appendix position, you definitely do NOT want the wedge. Otherwise, maybe. Read on!

The appendix wedge is a permanent holster feature that is ergonomically designed to fill the gap between the holster and your pelvis when worn in the appendix position. It aids in concealment and comfort by tipping the muzzle away from the body and rotates the grip towards the body. Because it is molded into the holster body it does not deform and it will continue to perform for the life of the holster.

If you’re not sure where you want to carry, foregoing this option gives you more flexibility in the future. Generally wedge-less holsters are more comfortable and perform better strong side (3-4 o’clock). If you sometimes carry appendix, or want to experiment with it, there are various foam and rubber holster wedges that can be attached. These products may deform and lose performance over time, but they are replaceable and adjustable so you always have options.

Every body is unique and what is right for you is a highly personal decision that only you can make.

We do all communication via email where we can exchange photos and screenshots. There are simply too many variations of very similar pistols and lights with very similar names, which are easily confused or conflated, and do not share holsters. Communicating via email ensures precise and concise communication about what you have and which holsters are compatible.
